Good food, good deals. Quick and fast service. If you're looking for some authentic barbacoa here is the place it's just what you'd expect from a little Joel in the wall kind of place

Was recommended by a foodie friend from Austin. Hole in the wall but spectacular. The bean and cheese flour tortilla breakfast tacos are the best I have ever eaten. Light, flavorful, and satisfying. The red salsa was sharp and tasty. My mom even loved the egg and bacon breakfast tacos (best I've ever had, she said). If I could give 6 stars for the breakfast tacos I would.

Hidden spot to pick up the best barbacoa and other cooked meats. You can pick up masa and tortillas. I like to make the drive in order to pick up breakfast for the family. I like to treat myself to a tripa taco and you can get other flavorful selections of cooked meats.

Walked in and it felt homey and welcoming. The tacos were the best ones I've tasted in a very long time. Thick cut cheese, 2 slices of bacon instead of 1, and, at a great price.

I love the tripa and lengua lampriada tacos. When you order crispy tripa, it's not all burned like at other places. If course they have your regular papa con huevo, carne guisada n other tacos. You can even take your favorite meat like brisket or cabrito and they will cook it for you! There is an entire world of Mexican foods and products to choose from. They sell molcajetes, metates, and other real Mexican cooking products.

Was looking for a good taco spot in San Antonio. Found a couple but were only to go. This one had a sit down area too. The barbacoa was super good. Home made tortillas and home made tamales. The beans were mixed with chorizo and were good. Paid about 17.00 for 5 tacos. Oh and the tripas were crispy but not a burnt crispy. Will be back again.

I am so happy that my boyfriend #jengal introduced me to this piece of heaven. When you walk in you can immediately smell the goodness. It was early afternoon when we went and we were worried that they stopped serving breakfast, but the staff was eager to take our order and had no problem making us breakfast tacos. I ordered a bean, egg, and cheese taco and a potato, egg, and cheese taco on flour (Since then I have heard many good things about their homemade corn tortillas and I will be trying them next time. ) After we ordered and paid at the front counter we went to the dining area. I'm glad my boyfriend new what was up because I would of not known that there were serve yourself chips. He grabbed the perfect amount of chips for us and they were fresh and warm.. They had two types of salsa on each table. I was brave and decided to try the green salsa, It was hot but manageable. There was a server that brought coffee and our tacos. When the tacos arrived I could tell just by looking at them that they were going to be good. I took the first bite and it melted in my mouth, amazing! I appreciated each and every bite especially because the last breakfast tacos I had came from a chain restaurant (las palapas). These tacos were definitely in a different category all together. The taco was perfect and it filled me so I was able to save the other taco for lunch! If you are looking for authentic Mexican please stop by here. You will not regret it.

Great tacos. Great prices. I used to eat here 30 years ago when they were at the corner of Bandera Rd and Woodlawn Ave. I have rediscovered this place and become a regular again. They make their food fresh and have an open kitchen. You can see the older lady making the food. She is super talented. They don't have a sit down restaurant so your order will be to go. The red hot sauce is great! Try the all meat Barbacoa!
